Launch Content for a Recovery Drink
Pain Punch is a Canadian anti-inflammatory recovery drink — turmeric and omega-3 in a bright orange carton, with a black Pain Punch Plus variant carrying added caffeine.
We built the launch content as spec work in a single afternoon: a cinematic boxer arc and a batch of UGC-style ads that mirror the brand's own gym community.
Functional beverages drown in supplement-aisle language — ingredients, claims, fine print. The buyer is a fighter walking out of a hard session, not a label reader. The content had to earn the drink through the sport, not recite the panel.
We replaced ingredient talk with a boxer's arc: hands wrapped in a dark gym, a brutal bag round, and the carton arriving only when the fighter has spent everything. UGC cuts translate the same story into gym-mirror language — including a couples' toast that echoes the brand's own community content.
The brand's live Instagram ads dissected: gym settings, caption tone, how the carton is held and opened on camera.
Both flavours locked as identity references — the orange original and the black Plus with its Clean Energy face — so caps, kangaroo logo and text survive every frame.
Wraps → bag → drink → comeback → brand shot, generated as five graded scenes with sound design. One scene tripped the safety filter and was re-phrased as pad drills.
Three creator-style cuts: post-class sip, cage-side verdict, couples' toast — text space kept clean for captions.
Every frame protects the packaging: condensation on the orange Tetra-Pak, the kangaroo-in-gloves logo crisp under gym light, the black Plus variant reproduced down to its Clean Energy face and caffeine line. If the carton drifts, the frame dies.
“The drink arrives only when the fighter has earned it.”
The numbers that matter
Eight ads and a 22-second showreel produced, graded and mastered in one afternoon.
Five cinematic scenes and three UGC cuts plus the assembled showreel, in every paid-social ratio.
The orange original and the black Plus both frame-accurate — logo, caps and copy included.
The gym, the ring apron and the studio gradient are generated; no location or talent costs.
